Why spring for a treadmill with TV?
I remember well the first time I saw and used a treadmill with a TV … and it had 50 or so channels to boot. I thought that was a great idea and have watched TV on treadmills ever since.

Obviously you can easily set up a treadmill in front of your existing treadmill which would mean you didn’t need to spend so much on a treadmill with a TV. However, sometimes you can’t set up your treadmill in front of your main TV. Perhaps you have your TV in a room that isn’t conducive for having a treadmill set up in it. Maybe other people use the room(s) with a TV; it isn’t much fun for other people to watch TV while someone is pounding away on a treadmill 3 feet away.
There is also the noise factor. Treadmills tend to generate noise which means you may not hear a regular TV as well as you would a TV buil into your treadmill that you listen to with headphones.
And then you might be a person who doesn’t have a TV at all.
The fact is it may be cost effective or necessary to get a treadmill with a TV if you want to watch TV while your run and walk on your treadmill.
Exercising on a treadmill is not as nice as running and walking outside on a nice day. But then a treadmill is a real convenience because it makes it so easy to continue with your workouts even when the weather gets bad. To stave off the boredom of working out on a treadmill, a TV certainly can help. If you have a few favorite shows, why not benefit from exercise while enjoying those shows.
