I wrote extensively about assessing a treadmill’s book holder and magazine reading rack here when looking at buying a treadmill.
However, if your existing treadmill (or any exercise equipment item) or intended purchase doesn’t have a very good book holder, you can buy an inexpensive treadmill book holder and magazine reading rack from Amazon. As you can see from the image to the right, it’s a simple attachment.
Treadmill Book Holder Dimensions: 13.5″ width x 8.5″ height x 3″ deep.
The dimensions are important because the rack may not fit on every treadmill or exercise equipment item.
Note, the graphic seen on the image to the right is no longer on the reading rack.
As you can see, this treadmill magazine reading rack is very simple to install. The hooked top hangs on the top of your exercise equipment console. Note, that your exercise item must have a console or some platform to place it on.
No lip
I like the fact this treadmill magazine rack doesn’t have a lip on the ledge. This means it’s fairly easy to turn pages.
Width, height and depth are more than sufficient
I find many treadmills don’t provide an adequate book holder ledge. This treadmill magazine reading rack with dimensions of 13.5″ width x 8.5″ height x 3″ deep, is sufficiently large to accommodate most books and magazines.
Use for eReaders
You’re not restricted to using this reading rack to printed materials. You can also easily place an eReader, such as a Amazon’s Kindle on it.
It’s not a laptop holder
