I’m surprised it’s taken so long for treadmill manufacturers to come up with treadmills with internet. I’m not talking about iFit Live (which is cool by the way – I write about iFit Live here); I’m talking about full wireless access to the internet so you can surf the web.
There’s a treadmill laptop holder which is a fix, but it isn’t the same as a treadmill computer with a large screen that wirelessly connects to your home internet system.
This web page will be a work-in-progress as more treadmills come out with wireless internet. But, we’ll get the ball rolling with one of the first treadmills with internet … it’s the ProForm Pro 4500.
1. ProForm Pro 4500 Treadmill with Internet
Not only does the ProForm Pro 4500 come with internet, it comes with some premium features such as a 3.8 hp motor, 450 weight capacity, 1-touch speed/incline adjustment, and much more. You can read my full ProForm Pro 4500 profile here.
In a nutshell, this treadmill is outfitted with a 10″ screen that uses the Android operating system and wirelessly connects to the internet. I recommend getting a wireless handheld mouse so you can surf the web with interrupting your stride (I have both a wired and wireless handheld mouse – the wireless is much more convenient).
Stay tuned as I list more more treadmills with internet as they hit the market.
